Referral marketing disclosure
How this website is run and how the crews who do the work get paid, in plain terms. Revised November 2026.
- What this site is. Capital City Waterproofing Co. (capitalcitywaterproofing.com) is a marketing and booking website for basement waterproofing in Columbus and the surrounding towns of Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield and Licking counties.
- Where your request goes. Calls, forms and chat messages reach us first. An automated assistant picks up the phone at every hour and records your details, and a staff member follows up to book the inspection.
- Who does the work. Independent, registered and insured waterproofing crews in the Columbus area carry out the inspections and jobs. The operator of this website does not. Which crew gets your job depends on the work, the address and the schedule.
- How we are paid. When a booking turns into a job, the crew may pay us a referral or advertising fee. That arrangement is between us and the crew and is not added to your price.
- What you pay. The signed estimate from the crew is your price, whatever the arrangement behind it.
- Measurement. We count calls, forms and page visits so we know which pages bring inquiries. Calls may be recorded after a notice at the start. The privacy policy covers the details.
- Knowing who is coming. Ask and we name the crew before the visit is booked.
- Comparing. A second estimate on basement work is sensible, and we will not discourage it.
- The crew's own terms. Each crew carries its own insurance and sets its own warranty. Ask to see the certificate of insurance and read what you sign.
- Advertising. This site may appear in search results or paid ads. Services that run or measure those ads receive only what they need.
